How to Connect Printify to Amazon: Step-By-Step
First, it’s important to share that currently, this integration is only available for Amazon US. Ok, moving on, since we are talking about two huge companies for POD sellers it is fair that we break instructions into two parts:Â
First Part
- The very first step is to create a Printify account.Â
💡If you are actually new to Printify and have no idea where to start first head to this post.Â
2. Upload your products create listings and basically have your whole shop set up before heading to Amazon.Â
Keep in mind SEO basic standard rules apply to both these platforms, if you haven’t done this yet please make a stop here and head to our SEO guide.Â

Second Part
3. Create an Amazon Seller Central with a Professional selling plan, which costs $39.99/month plus referral fees. (You will need a professional plan to connect to Printify). The approval process for your Amazon seller account may take time; monitor your email for updates.
✨ If you are really new to Amazon you might want to check out how to start dropshipping on Amazon, or how to sell t-shirts on Amazon.
⚠️ This is not an account for Amazon merch that is a whole other platform.Â

4. Select a shipping template according to your needs.Â
5. Fill in shipping fees, for this, you need to have your Printity shipping rates in hand. Change shipping fees instead of “per pound” and use “per item”. Pay attention to additional item fees, Amazon charges referral fees (typically 15% per sale). You don’t want to overprice your customers on Amazon! Configure shipping profiles in Amazon Seller Central to align with Printify’s fulfillment.
6. Choose to work as a registered brand or an approved seller, the process for each of these may vary when setting up your store. For example, brand registration or brand approval, instead of using generic brands (which is how Printify products appear), adds an extra step.
7. Ensure products are fulfilled by US-based Print Providers, as only these can be listed on Amazon US.
Last Part: Almost There!
8. Finally, after you added all the relevant settings to your Amazon account you are ready to connect Printify with Amazon. In Printify, navigate to “Manage My Stores” and select “Connect” to add Amazon. Authorize the connection through your Amazon account.
9. Copy all your Printify products to the Amazon store. You now have an Amazon print-on-demand business!
10. Organize your product into parent and child listings (these are simply all the variations the same product can have).
đź“ŚYou’ll have to apply for an exception for UPC (unique product code) since Printify products lack standard identifiers like UPCs. You might also have to join Amazon Custom to offer customizable products.Â
